Same folks and menu as the former Catch Seafood in Uptown Foley. Seafood with a Cajun/creole flair. Quality seafood, nicely seasoned dishes, but you pay for that quality. Service at atmosphere are a bit… Weird. I felt mildly uncomfortable at Catch and the same feeling exists here. One server is super friendly, the other seems like she's rather be anywhere else than dealing with customers.
We just dropped in for lunch because we had been so busy being tourist we didn't eat any real seafood. We didn't want to return back to the busy strip Before heading home so we thought we would find a whole in the wall place. Fins Food was great and super fresh and hot. Service was great . We will be back.
The food was great. I was there when they first opened and they have done a lot with the decor since first opening day. Be sure to check out the restrooms...quite a read....interesting photos. Lots of free parking. Easy wheelchair access. Large tables for family service or groups. See attached photos. I will try to attach photos if this thing does not quit on me. It quit! I clicked on "add photos" and up csame the message "maps quit working" and photos could not be added.
The food and service was great, i had the fried shrimp and oyster platter and it was good. The crab spinach dip was the best i ever had.
Best fried oysters and shrimp on the coast. Gumbo was great also.
