Left early after two nights of people partying and shouting and playing bean bag games on the road outside the rig.
Very nice! Friendly. Quiet. Not expensive. Will stay again for sure!
Beautiful campground and the staff are so friendly. We just bought our new fifth wheel and was having problems. They went out of the way to help diagnose everything down to testing our battery. Very clean grounds and well lit. Pride is taken in this campground.
As an Irma hurricane evacuee I booked this site for one week to ride out the storm. The site down by the river was barely large enough to park my 26' TT and truck on the diagonal sticking out into the road. Couldn't actually see the river. Concrete slab but sand everywhere. All utilities to the extreme rear of the rig.
This was a wonderful place to stay the owner were as nice as could be,the river was so clear I would stay here again.
The manager was very nice, apologized and refunded the difference for leaving early
We stayed here a few weeks ago & this was the hardest place to write a review about during our southern road trip so far. On the one hand, this place is priced great, friendly management, clean, level concrete sites, and it's right on the river. Also the little pavilion area is nice to hang out or grill. But the sites don't have firepits or picnic tables - bummer. Also, the big thing for us was the noise. The proximity of the place is right near RT10 so there's trucks zooming by all the time, there's also an ATV park down the road, a shooting range on the other side, and it seemed every morning starting at 7am stunt planes & helicopters would be practicing directly overhead and going all day (must be an airport nearby too). For us, it just didn't work. We are both light sleepers and like to actually sleep past 6am...I know, crazy right. If you're like us and actually want quiet, look elsewhere to stay. But if you can live with that annoyance then this place is fine. We really want to leave more stars but for that reason we can't.
